Day Fourteen: To Whom It May Concern

Prompt: Pick up the nearest book and flip to page 29. What’s the first word that jumps off the page? Use this word as a springboard for inspiration.

Twist: Write the post in the form of a letter.

They aren’t thieves.

(I didn’t have a book so I went to the web)

Dear Bradley,

I heard the news and I’m begging you to reconsider. Murder is never the option for anything no matter what awful thing they’ve done. It rips apart your soul, it haunts you the rest of your life. Especially for someone in your position, killing someone will ruin everything you’ve ever worked for. Tearing you down piece by piece. I know what they’ve done. I know it’s not right but it’s hardly thievery! They aren’t thieves. They simply picked something up and forgot to return it. It’s easy to do with something so small. They returned it didn’t they? They didn’t even get very far before they realized it was in their pocket. I know you didn’t see them do it but they returned it! That’s a cause for forgiveness. Please Bradley give them another chance. They’ve apologized and it was an accident. Thank You! Good day!
